Rod Dedeaux Foundation holds baseball/softball clinic for at-risk youth.

The Rod Dedeaux Foundation was thrilled to have been able to continue to support underserved youth by holding a baseball and softball clinic at University of Southern California. Eighty at risk youth from the Los Angeles area attended and were given professional instruction, and Wilson Sporting Goods donated new gloves to every kid in attendance while New Balance donated and fitted each kid with a new pair of fancy cleats. El Cholo donated burritos for kids and staff, while Farmers Insurance handed out bottled water. After a tour of the USC campus many instructors reported that their kids had never been to a college campus and were asking about how they can get into college, eyes were opened to new possibilities and underserved youth were exposed to healthy alternatives and lifestyles. That is the goal of our foundation; to help improve lives. The Rod Dedeaux Foundation is very proud and thankful to all our sponsors and donors for helping make this event happen.
